John Hanson Community School's Science Fayre

We joined Laverstoke Park Education Centre at John Hanson Community School in Andover, when we took part in their School Science Fayre.

The Fayre was aimed at Yr9 and Yr10 students, other invited visitors dropped in to browse the event. Laverstoke’s theme was sustainability. Students investigated the key components of a compost heap and how Laverstoke doesn’t actually sell any compost but manages to make money from it.

A wow factor was a live link to the Farm’s five acre compost site via web cam.
